Fuckounting
7:54 PM
Anyone who said that accounting is murder had every right to say so. And to think what we're doing is just pretty basic.

There's a rainbow always after a suspension
9:43 AM
I must definitely say, kudos to DepEd and CHED for suspending classes on a bright, sunny day. I expected gray skies when I woke up but no-- sun-shiny, bright blue skies... Mainit pa.Don't you love the irony? This always happens when there's a suspension. Palaging bad call sa weather haha. Silver lining, not so silver: Nada cable tv hasta ahora. Poopoo. Aliens visited my backyard and a giant took off our roof
1:54 PM
I had this ubsurdly out-of-this world (no pun intended) dream a few days back. My dream had a bunch of aliens in them and a giant that popped out of no where. The Dream: I was downstairs eating lunch when my mom spotted star- like images in the night sky (lunch sa gabi eh noh). They looked like christmas lights pero mas bonitas-- They twinkled like purdy glitter in the horizon. Okay tama na. After that, my mom uttered an "Uy darling (to my padre), there are space ships outside our window". Super weird kasi my dad wasn't even in the picture. It was just me, my mom and my lunch. Anywhoo... After spotting the "space ship", a giant man- creature popped out from one of the houses, Yes POPPED out (It looked like it stood out from a crouch position), and tore out the roof from our house-- including the 2nd floor. It was raining in my dream so I could feel little droplets of rain on me. The weird thing was that the rain felt REAL. I could really feel cold spots of water on my face-- I woke up to see that there WERE little drops of rain on my face. It was raining outside and tidbits of rain were going through my window. This morning I had that dream again. The rain in this new dream, however, was stronger-- Think hurricane Katrina. So instead of having spots of rain on me, I felt like I had a bucket of water fall on me. I woke up with the side of my bed (window side, of course) WET :| Que puneta el bagyo. Pfft. Kala ko I had grown- up weewee problems. K, I hope no one takes that seriously. Friday, June 20, 2008

Generally Accepted Accounting Principle number 'something' states that under the Going Concern Principle, the indefinite operation of the business must be assumed long enough for all resources to be used.I guess that principle holds true for all SOM students or all students who need to take up this God forsaken subject. Students assume the indefinite difficulty of this subject long enough for all the succeeding students to experience its bullshit-ness. I know that the 'accounting scare' must be anticipated once you learn you're taking that subject, but I don't know-- baka praning lang talaga ako. I've not been deaf to the horror stories about accounting and those may be the reason why I give myself added fright to this subject. I still don't get why processes that require only MDAS (x,/,+,-) presumably give an idea that they're more difficult than those mathematical processes that have, for example, functions and variables. Ganito nalang gagawin ko-- MAG AARAL. Haha. Woe is me. Thursday, June 19, 2008

Bea, a friend of mine, commented on her blog about the first two weeks of school. It wasn't long, it only had one sentence in it. It says, and I quote, "ANAK NG PATING, SECOND WEEK PALANG AT PAGOD NA AKO".May I just say that I TOTALLY agree with that sentiment :)). Ako rin, kahit second week palang, pagod na ako. My first sem for this year had me going through a lot of adjustments to my schedule. I have more walking to do, more errands and more shit. I hate adjusting to shit. Silver lining: More bum time, study time and visiting time. Por ejemplo, Jordan visited this afternoon after lunch time (which practically made my day YAY, but that's beside the point haha). *switch topic* I have now found an easier route to walk to my sister's school from mine. Stupid me for thinking that the old way I've been taking is the shortest one. I've been committing suicide this whole time pala. Thank goodness I still have that old map haha. *thinks... off-tangently* Why are there so may good- looking freshmen (admu'12) and those of younger batches? Unfair. Tuesday, June 17, 2008
Wish me luck
8:57 PM
:( I've quit a long time ago. Bakit may nagpapakita pang isang 'ray of hope'? Whenever those things show up, I overthink the outcomes. I hate those things becuse, then, I have big expectations. Big expectations = Bigger upsets. I don't know. Maybe I wont quit this time but I wont have those totally big expectations I always end up having.

Doughnuts
9:40 PM
No doubt, it's still there. This is stupid. I feel bad bacause this temptation is not supposed to be felt. Really not good for my health, k haha. Sa lahat pa talaga ng bagay. I'm such a sucker for sweetness-- Nakakainis talaga kapag may kahon ng Krispy Kreme sa bahay... And there are still some downstaaairs :(( Stupid doughnuts.I gave a talk to English10 freshmen this afternoon about what they would expect for English10 and what they would expect on their first year as students of the Loyola Schools. I will admit, unbashfully, that I have captured my audience's attention throughout the talk. Yay:). The talk, in itself, was just small but it was cool :). It was interesting seeing myself in those freshmen, having the same kind curious and naive eyes upon the speaker. Yay for sweets and public speaking. Waterloooooo. Sunday, June 15, 2008
The best ugly shoes on Earth
9:13 PM
The father's day sit-down-meal-celebration brought my family, yet again, to Serendra/High Street. I am shy to admit that I probably spent the most of my dad's money-- On father's day HAHA. I ate the most and shopped the most... Well not really shopped the MOST... More like got the most on el dia de los padres. Binayayaan lang ako siguro ng Diyos. The story: My sister came back from the States and, of course, what's going out of the country without pasalubong, diba? She got my sister and I the usual vanity shiznit and I got a little extra something. She brought out a pair of pumps that were muymuymuyMUY bonita... Haaaayy los zapatos bonitos-- And they ended up being miiiine :) Oh bliiiss. Shoe story doesn't end there. As mentioned, la familia y yo were at Serendra and we stopped by the Crocs store. Mi papa bought himself pair of Crocs (de-tali... how cute) and weeeeelllll, nakisama ako sa gastos (I bought those whatchamacallits flat-like shoes, not the prima ones). K bottom line: At the end of the day, I have two pairs of shoesies. Feliz. Crocs are the fugliest commercialized shoes on Earth, but they're the comfiest EVER. My dad looked soooo cute loving the comfiness of his new Crocs... He skipped around the house with it-- Just so he can justify its comfiness. My pair, however, shall be binyag-ed tomorrow when I wear them to school. Papa Bear

Felicidadez para dia de los padres!:)To those who have grown pot bellies and those who have lost huge spots of hair over the years, To those who gained thicker lenses for their glasses and wrinkles on their faces, To those who are first time daddies and those who want to be daddies To those who have phalluses, used it well and earned their fruit To those who don't have the abovementioned characteristics but still runs the role of "dad" happy father's day to all of you :D Friday, June 13, 2008
Friday the 13th
7:03 PM
Traditionally, Friday the 13th brings bad luck and all that jazz. In our family, it's the other way around hahahahaha. It's not essentially a family or gene thing but this thing surprisingly really happens. We get good luck on Friday the 13th haha. Today... My classes ended reaaaally early so I guess that's good luck for me :) AND book checklist for this sem is finally complete (as in I have everything). Thank Jesus. I bid farewell to the stress that is of hunting for books. Oh and add a surprise box of Krispy Kreme when I got home to the luck.Yep, I know there's a catch to a string of good luck. It doesn't last and I'm damn well aware of it. Tomorrow starts my sabaw Saturdays and what better way than to kick that off with a 3-hour accounting class. This is, officially, my last TGIF and I shall cherish it--- Right after I'm fully finished with the readings I have to go through haha. Whatta TGIF k. LOL. I'm getting support... Which is weird 'cause that never usually happens (reactions because of a stat). Anywho... The story-- err, stat rather: acc15 fuckounting. The encouragements: gel Abano: haha gel Abano: goodluck gel Abano: Danielle Eleazar: oo nga huhuhuhu Danielle Eleazar: haha gel Abano: hahaha gel Abano: kaya yan gel Abano: Danielle Eleazar: onaman! haha and... Kim Valera: i love it! FUCKccounting!! go dani go! Danielle Eleazar: HAHAHA thaaaanks for the encouragement k and... Hans Ngo: magaaral na din ako ---> not quite an encouragement, but oh well aaaand... some from my sister... blah Oh Friday the 13th. You were good while you lasted. Labo. Thursday, June 12, 2008
Yay
7:22 PM
An obligation is a juridical necessity to give, to do or not to do. There are 4 essential requisites of obligation: the debtor or obligor, creditor or obligee, prestation and a juridical. As a student, I am obliged to feel very elated and happy for this day's occurences.
As a person, I am obliged to enjoy a day and a day is obliged to give me a reason to be happy, as well. I was walking to MC to meet up with my sister at about 4:40. Since the meet- up would still be at 5pm, I took my sweet and precious time walking to MC from school (I didn't take a trike 'cause there were no trikes at the terminal, the line was too long and it causes pollution hahaha). I NEVER get tired of walking in Ateneo, especially if the rain is not too hard. It makes me feel sooooo peaceful. I did this oddly retard-ish thing while walking to MC, though. Since nada gentes were around on the walk there, I started humming to the "I'm singin' in the rain" song. As retarted as it may sound, it actually felt splendid. I felt totally at peace with myself and the weather to the point that I actually stomped on puddles hahaha (I was wearing chucks so I was protected from the splashes). "I'm singiiiin' and danciiiiin' iiiiin the raaaain..."--- with an um-buh-re-lla. "I'm laughin' at clouds so daaark up abooove. The sun's in my heart and I'm ready for looove"

Muymuymuy bieeeen!
6:36 PM
MVP sells our econ book, Principles of Economics --yes naman kumpleto haha, for about Php950 and methinks they're out of stock already.Luck loves me today. I went to Makati to buy the same book aaaaand... I got it for only Php799 AND it was the LAST COPY LEFT. WOOOT!! Purchasing of books for this sem has been one of the many things that give such a hassle to my day. If anyone would be able to drop by at the MVP, they'd see lines that go on forever just so that one student could, at least, reserve one book. I've been lucky for English, Accounting and Econ so far... Maybe even Law. I'm getting hand-me-downs for the first three subjects (Thanks Niki, Emmet and Goodwill mkti!) and I was able to photocopy the required readings for Law at the last minute (thanks Angeli!). Problem solved... For now. I still have to get a copy of that Law book (which is out of stock EVERYWHERE). Bahala na muna... Basta for now, I'll be able to do homework. Ec102... JEKI AND I ARE CLASSMATES. Keeeewl!!!! Needless to say that my Ec teacher is not, at all and even in its simplest sense, amusing :|. "Isang bagsak kay _____" Kaaay... I shall continue my hunt for upper- classmen with the same Law book. I will not give up! Hahahaha Tuesday, June 10, 2008
El crap-o
10:11 PM
I should be happy for a number of things:1) 13th Tenth 2) First day of classes which, alongside that, means a new start too (blahblahblah philosophical shat) 3) This day marks the moment my arse is separated from my bed... For a comfortably long time 4) I get to see my blockmates and friends again 5) God gave me the blessing of letting my young-woman-ness push through. This is a lil' ol' secret of mine :) ... Exciting dapat diba? Pffffft I. don't. get. it... Remnants of summer are still there... In a bad way. And by that, I mean I feel like I should still have a week off or something. I realized, this morning, that I should totally bid my free Saturdays farewell and welcome the 'SOM subject from hell' (rhyme not intended). Ewan. I may just be bitching (hell, it's what I've been doing for 3 weeks). I can't seem to make my schedule jive well with the flow that I want my day to follow. Dagdag mo na diyan and mamahaling presyo ng mga bibilhin ngayon. Gaaahhh, isa pa yan. Precious moolah spent on books :-< (Not that I'm saying I shoudn't spend on them at all :|) I can't exactly grasp what's causing me sooooo much of this bitch fit lately. Maybe it's the heat? BIG possibility. 'Cha naman, dapat rainy season ngayon eh. Where art thou ulan k? Maybe it's this thing in me that makes it difficult for me to adjust to change. Yeah, I hate it... I can't welcome change very well. That says a lot on how I may or may not survive in the "big world". But maaaaaaybe a big part of me is still bitter... About what? Aba, secret ko na yun. I hate that I'm bitter. Puta. This is so not me to let a small thing bother me so much. Happy back-to-school to y'all *wew* Monday, June 9, 2008

A mutt has more pedigree than you. You look like someone from a class A breed but you definitely lack good breeding.

Eugh. I'm getting rid of this because, apparently, the main site has a problem or something. Really, the only thing I kept it at that domain was because all my old entries were there. Yeah I have this thing with keeping all my entries in one place. So here I am. I never thought I'd get a blogger account but hey... helloooo danieleazar.blogspot.com Poo |
