Autoeroticism
8:25 PM

My dad talked to me about my topic for my English paper a few weeks back. I didn't get why he went all serious, but he started off saying that he was worried of what other people might think of me. At first, I really couldn't find it in myself to comprehend what he just said. I mean, I'm not the first student who was brave enough to cover this topic and, in all fairness to cliche topics, my topic could be subcategorized under such a gasgas general topic.

Yes-- SEX. Yan ang general topic ko. The gen topic sounds boring, right? That's exactly what I thought when I started this whole research paper process thing. Naturally, I veered away from the ever-so-boring topic. I chose something that a lot of people, until now, would find surprising hahaha.

I'll say this: I just love how people, guys especially, react when they find out about this hahahaha. I usually get high- fives from guys and, well, odd looks from girls (but with laughter after?). Haha. THIS is exactly why I chose this topic :)) My main purpose is to get those weird looks from everyone. HAHA.

Thank God It's... Wednesday
8:33 PM

Okay... I'm currently at the state of not knowing what to write about. Tons of stuff are in my head, waiting to be written about but I'm lost as to how and what I should write about. Must be the fact that stress is making me lazy? Haha.

Okay, let me start with this. Thank the mighty heavens and ST. IGNATIUS for his "day" tomorrow! It's because of him that I finally get to taste a full day of freedom (save 10am-12nn tom for review classes, but oh well-- that won't rain on my parade). Just when I've given up getting used to my shit ass Saturday sched and a shit ass 6 day study week, St. Ignatius extends forth a blessing among us Ateneans. Yayness. Hohohooo, one more thing. I must give thanks, too, to "the beaver" (my com prof) for granting us a free cut on Friday. It's because of him that my Friday this week will end at 930am :). Yayness, yet again.

"Why so serious??" - Joker a.k.a. Heath Ledger

Yes, ngayon ko lang napanood ang Dark Knight. After almost a full week of hearing everyone rave about it, I've finally gotten the chance to see it (with Angge and Kiko). I must admit, thought, that I didn't really get what all the rave was about after watching the first half of the movie. But towards the end-- Yeaaaahhh, I loved it haha (along with so many other people). I agree, Heath Ledger gave an absolutely amazing performance for this film. He creeped me out-- That constitutes his success in portraying his role. I'm not so keen on the idea of giving him a post-mortem (wait... did I use/spell the term correctly?) Oscar for his role, though. I don't know-- I think if he was still alive, people wouldn't gush too much over his role. It's definitely safe to say that his death helped a great deal in his image as an actor in this movie and helped in the movie itself (promotions, et al).

Ok... I'm finger-skipping (term I use when I just type away without thinking haha). I shall stop...
After I share this funny thing that Tonino said in our EC102 class 2 days ago.

"Commissioner-- Pahinging Strepsils" - THE Batman
Now. I. Stop. :D

QWERTY
8:46 PM

Zzzzzz...
I'm THAT lazy to do anything productive. I've been switching from my study table (where my school stuff are) to my bed (where my laptop is and where comfiness lies) under really random intervals. I've tried rewriting my Accounting, Law, Econ and Comm notes but none of them are really done (Acc is an exception 'cause the notes were short). I started all of them but I only ended up being lazy to finish them... Poopoo. Blame the times I felt lazy to rewrite notes for certain days, too. Argh, fuck laziness :((. It gets me no where :((

Happy note: Nix and I love NSTP with passion. Why? We love being EFFECTIVE! :D (seeecreeet)

July 25, 2008

Up there yonder is a copy of the menu that we had last night haha. Oh ano say mo haaa? For one night, Nix, Julio, Kiko, Miggy, Anton and I were rich bitches. If you think about it, the dinner was just an excuse for us to dress up and eat with class HAHA. If there would be one attendee of last night who did not enjoy the dinner, he/she's a poopoo 'cause last night really spelled out F-U-N-- rich bitch fun :)). None of us brought snapshot paraphernalia so we basically relied on memory-- And camera phones with sucky resolution. There was really just one thing that made the night awesome, though. As cheesy as it sounds, the mere fact that I spent time with these people made last night worthwhile. Quoting Mr. Anton Jose: "We're not sure if we'll be able to hang out as often as we do now in the future" (it wasn't exactly stated that way but, oh well haha)-- The moment he said that, I was hit with the realization that, yeahomgwtf, people are leaving and the close ties we have with one another may not be there anymore in the future. Planned outing or not, rich bitch food or carinderia food pig-out, complete or incomplete-- The company with special people always counts as something really memorable and important. Buntong- hininga (with sparkly eyes). I love it :)

Okay, to end the drama spree, I shall just say-- Thanks for the MEDIUM RARE-D STEAK :D

Alright, just so that I can share the story... The main thing behind this whole dinner thing happened when one of us (I don't remember who) spoke about a random thought. Random thought: It would be nice if we could have one night where we'd dress up and be rich bitches for one night. Funny how that small thought came true and how that small thought progressed into a plan of a rich bitch dinner happening every year hahaha :D

A crap load of books = Student's best friend
9:21 PM

The Rizal Library is my new bestfriend. Well... That's always the case when I need to do research et al. I expected these past days spent in the library to be of torment, but no hahaha. I found hanging out at the library awesome! Hahaha

You see... Even after countless visits to the lib, I still get lost and confused, for example, as to where I should turn to find the staircase going to the 2nd floor from the 3rd. Yeah, the library's really big so it would obviously mean that I'd find something new after every visit. What made my past visits (this week) totally cool was when I spent half an hour inside the Filipiniana section (where all published theses are) and when Angge and I got to tour ourselves around the room next to the Filipinana sec-- Basta it's a room full of old maps. I shall elaborate...

Now! haha

Reading other students' papers dated back in the days when courier was an in-demand font (typwriters) was muy interesting for me. Just with reading all those theses, I could do a comparative study on the style of writing and the subjects/ topics used or whatever haha. I love old thingggssss.

And speaking of old things... The map-room visit made me love old things even more haha.

The whole thing started with me asking Angge about the room next to the Filipiniana sec. That simple question fuelled Angge's curiosity too so we decided that we should explore and enter the room. We were stopped at first by a dude, asking what research we were doing. Angge replied with a simple "we were just curious" and the dude called upon an older, much more in- charge- looking dude to ask if we could look around. What happened next was cool haha. The old man turned on the lights and I felt like I was inside a small- scale map museum. Naturally, we looked around and was putangenasized at how old the maps were (Apparently, it showed the history on how the Philippines was "put on the map"). Some of them were handwritten and cool and old while some of them (mainly 2) were stupid HAHA. One stupid map had the Philippines as one big clump of land-- As in walang korte, isang maliit na blob lang-- and the other had the Philippines on the North part of the map (so you'd have to tilt your head to your left to see correctly that China was on top of the Phils). Quoting Angeli: "I love artifacts!", Dani: "I love history!"

Kulang nalang ay pasukan ko yung Rizal Room haha.

I attend class for a reason
11:34 PM

For miss Anna Katrina Vivas' convenience: The link to the comment box is right up yonder, right next to the entry title :)

I haven't updated in almost an epoch. It feels so long since I've last blogged but not so long as well-- k labo haha. The thing is, everyone's been really stressed to the point that everyone's oblivious to how slow or fast time flies or crawls. Just like what RJ mentioned awhile ago, when we were talking about Joh's cotillion practice almost exactly a year ago, grabe tamang chill lang noon. Ngayon, everyone goes to school looking like a corpse (Oh, believe me I try not to comply with this one). I can't believe I'd actually end up saying this but I'd love, marry and have sex with Calculus just to get rid of Accounting any day. Hahaha... Pardon the mention of 'accounting' again. I've just come home from our second SHIT ASS LT and well-- a hangover's inevitable.

Speaking of acads...

I've come to a conclusion that if you've run out of reasons to participate in class or even attend class, there is always a solution-- even to something as small as that. Answer to your problem *shinypromotionalcommercialSMILE*: Find yourself a happy crush for each class. Why?
  1. A happy crush is a happy crush, you'd still be happy to see him/ her at least once a day around school, thus, ginaganahan kang umattend ng class
  2. What's a happy crush if you don't want to impress him/ her? This is where the strive for acadamic excellence /slash/ ploy-to-get-your-happycrush-to-notice-you kick in
  3. It's not impossible to find oneself or even force oneself to have a happy crush. I mean, hello, lotsa classmates, lotsa classes, lotsa places, lotsa everything. Chances are, one dude or chica will catch your eye
  4. It actually makes you feel happy for the babaw-est of reasons
Tharr. Take note, though. What I mean by happy crush here is an attraction totally void of any emotion. Well at least for me HAHA. I have one awesome boundary that prohibits me to do this ahahaha. I have a Jordan to go home to. Yiiiiiii.

And now my bed beckons me to lay and sleep on it. Goodnight and cheerio.

Index, middle, ring fingers and 2 thumbs
8:42 PM

Putek. My left pinky finger's swollen. It's now as big as my thumb and as blue as.. Err... This. I had, what some better knowledged volleyball people called, this thing na parang "na- finger" daw ako. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na such a term exists haha. How it happened: The ball hit the tip of my pinky, (sort of) jamming my finger and, voila, elephant pinky. Now I can't type properly with my left pinky and it hurts like shit. Psh. Nakakainis... Ang liit lang ng accident, ang sakit pa-- 'Di pa ako nakapag practical test.

Anywhoooo. On to better things which made my day. Weepee. But before I start this, I should put a warning here that would inform people na mapapahiya si Kia sa mga ilalagay ko rito hahahaha.
  1. Imagine a barely eaten mamon/ monay (big, gigantic pandesal- sized k) falling on a table out of its plastic wrapper and being saved by hungry hands afterwards (imagine desperate grabbing gestures hahaha). That's what Kia did at Manang's this afternoon.
  2. Imagine someone EATING A FAKE APPLE and BITING IT TWICE to see what the fuck's wrong with it =)) Kiaaaaraaaaaa.
  3. I was able to give myself 3 powernaps today. Now I have PREPOSTERONE raaaawrrrrr
  4. Isang nakakatuwang mensaheng galing kay Bb. Anna Vivas. Wala lang. I felt so mean after doing that to Anna eh--- NOOOT HHAHAHAHA. Kidding! Iloveyou Anna!
  5. The weather. Pero not quite. But yeah. The weather.
  6. The fact that I had nada cosas para estudiar today.

Go ahead and break it
9:24 PM

As patient as he is and as "understanding" he can be sometimes, this time, he really does NOT get the big picture. Twice this week I was reprimanded for something unconsciously done. Those two times, I was judged by something I DIDN'T DO. He doesn't get the fact that my mind works too differently compared to everyone elses and that certain things I say do not mean what they look like they mean. I use a lot of shit as expressions and they are always misunderstood to mean something else. But hello, of all the people that should get the way I express things or the manner that I talk or the way my mind works, it should be HIM. Nowadays, his patience is short, his understanding is lacking, his time isn't there.

What happens when you're liable for a fortuitous event?
9:38 PM

Blame it on a higher being or don't pay any crap to it :D
*Law LT this past afternoon called upon me to entitle my entry this way

Thank God I'm done with that God forsaken, required-or-not, SA paper. This is the only time I'm truly thankful that I got deadlines mixed up (I thought the paper was due last Thursday so I finished it Wednesday night-- little did I know that it's still due tomorrow haha). It's been a loooong time since I felt the benefits of doing something before the announced deadline.

So far, I have 2 things to worry about: English sources and the next FUCKOUNTING long test.

Okay, I'm putting all my sorrows aside for now. Maybe I should...

GREET BLOCK 1 '07 Greenbatch A HAPPY BURFDAE!!!!!:D

I miss you guys thiiiiiis *spreads arms as far as thee can reach* much!

High and mighty BARBARIANS
9:50 AM

When I'm bored and when I want to see breakers dance, I go to MTV.com to watch ABDC (America's Best Dance Crew) episodes. That show's the reason why I'm in love with the Jabbawockeez. It was through this show, too, that I realized how sooooo many Filipino's are on that show and they dance !@#$%&!-ing great. Despite the judges not making sense when they give comments (minus Shane Sparks 'cause he really knows how to dance and he knows what he's saying), I lololove that show.

But then...

MTV DECIDED TO BAN EPISODE VIEWING OUTSIDE THE U.S.!!!! :(( ('cause of US copyright shit) POOPOO.

Discrimination!!! Rarr! :(

**The title refers to what the Americans were called when Roman Empire was the greatest thing alive. Haha.

No Amor Mas
8:55 PM

el no es amor que se mas. quiero amor de el pero el no me lo dara. muchas cosas son diferentes ahora. mierda. soy muy triste ahora con el. quiero viejo el. donde esta el?

err... lo siento para wrong grammar. i tried. apparently failed.

An MC no longer
6:15 PM

I went through my Multiply updates, as usual, and viewed the list making sure not to give a poop for those updates for online stores haha. The update that caught my eye was a link posted by Ate Cha (Kiara's sister). It was a link of her class site (Block 8 Greenbatch 2003). As curious as I am, I clicked it and viewed two things on that site: Profiles and Teachers. I initially viewed it to see if I knew any of them and to see if some of the teachers that taught them were still "alive". Instead, I started noticing differences between their batch and lower batches and I started comparing as well.

Bottom line: It really looks like MC has lower standards now and those standards are lowered every time a new batch enters.

Don't get me wrong, I love my alma mater (hell, I wouldn't have the same interests and perseverance in everything if I didn't "form" mysel in that school). But I have to admit, even with my own batch, that MC isn't what it was before. Alumnae would say the same (I wouldn't be bold enough to write this down if I didn't have that to back this up)

Why?
  1. MC had a cut off before and now, I don't think such a cut-off exists. We had, what we called 'entrance tests'. Now they call it 'placement tests'. We were, I think, the last batch to have a cut- off and now the number of sections per year have escalated to, at the most, 13 or 14 sections? Not long ago, the most number of sections a batch had was 6-8 (we had 9 haha and the next batch jumped to 11 sections). Exclusivity isn't my point here. It's just that-- sayang lang. It's evident that people in charge have slacked off to the standards, thus, lowering it.
  2. Stories from teachers whose names I won't mention here. They would always tell us how lucky we were because we do less. Older batches had more subjects and stuff and well... We didn't haha. (Oh but we had Econ and Electives... Something new c:)
  3. When I looked at the profiles page on the Block8'03 site, I noticed that ALL OF THEM went to either UP(d, m and lb) or Ateneo only. They were an honor's class (a system that stopped at their batch, methinks) so yeah, that explains it. Wala lang... It wouldn've been nice siguro if a section in our batch had that bit to brag about haha.
  4. Word of mouth. My mom and tita's told me that, during their time, when you say you're a Maryknoll graduate, people had high praises for you. They called it the "loss of the Maryknoll luster"
  5. Not a lot of teachers before complained about the admin and left because of the admin they disliked It's a different case now (another sentiment from teachers and former teachers whose names I shall, again, not mention here)
I wouldn't want to come across as someone who totally detests my former school. I don't eh. I'll say this, though; I'm still happy that I went to that school and I'm still very proud of the blue and gold haha (and my batch, especially :D; highest ranking batch at the ncae tests and the batch with the highest number of students, in history daw, to pass UP :D:D:D). I still think that MC has really good english and environmental programs. My only wish is that the 'high-standards' that MC always boasts about will be retained and still be there. I'd still want my future kids to attend that school, k.

Accounting Joke
10:39 PM

Err... Pardon the subject of this entry. I couldn't really think of anything else after having a 6-8 fuckounting class.

Okay. To give this entry a little bit more content (I don't give a crap's ass if it doesn't make sense), Methinks I shall list down things that happened today.

Mi horario para today: English, Econ, Comm, Angge's house, NSTP send off mass and Accounting. I was at school from 6:30 AM - 8:30 PM. How... Long.

Okay... On to the accounting joke!

It really isn't a joke. The idea came out of me like most idea's do when the world should care less about them-- They pop up and I blurt them out: Our teacher asked us to do trial balances for our homework and, naturally, the class protested. This is where my nonsense kicks in. I blurted out "pwede bang Homeworks Payable nalang?" then Emmet adds a "Debit forgiveness and credit homework!"

No need to tell me that it totally lacked a punchline... Or it lacked any ounce of HUMOR. Cheerio

14th Tenth
10:55 PM

A day like this is always a reason to lift my spirits. Of course it's a reason... It should be a reason. Tanga nalang ang hindi magiging masaya ngayon. Thank God it's been that long diba? Haha duh.

...

Okay. I'll admit, today must've slipped out of my mind once or twice (but I've never forgotten about today, mind you) and I bet it's the same with him. You'd think that the longer we're together, the happier we'd be. Direct proportion relationship right? I don't know what's different about today or whatever. It just is...

Haha don't fret, we're not having that kind of problem :)) The direct proportion blah is still there and is still very true. The only reason why it didn't really occupy our minds was the fact that schoolwork constantly bombards us. So yeah, stressed lang kami haha.

Haaay... Para catorce de Julio, I'm still muy happy hahahaha. :D

Te amo mucho, "miel" (HAHA)

Sir Charles Chaplin
7:04 PM

Poopoo: I'm usually in the mood to write papers, or rather just writing shit down (hence, this entry). Charlie Chaplin isn't such a motivating subject or me to write on. Well, not him per se. I'm supposed to write about his film and the shit we talk about in SA class.

Et al poopoos: Nonsense guidance exam and stoofoo-ed ball handling skills (for volleyball)
Objective for guidance exam: To complete certain phrases (totoo 'to lahat ah)
10 years from now... I am 29 (c/o Emmet Siapno)
I am particularly guilty about... Not taking this test seriously (c/o moi)
I think most boys... Are nice (c/o Angeli Ignacio)
I feel that sex... Is overrated (c/o Nicola Roa)
My ideal man... is TBA (c/o I don't know who)

Yahoo's:
  • Food tripping/ bonding/ catch-up-ing with Anna Katrinaaaaa. Aylavit. The original plan was to buy just siomai-- We ended up buying a meal, respectively, with a crap- load of rice. So ayan... Anna walked me to class with her better half 'cause she got muy full from the crap- load of kanin. *dalawang back bend at isang cartwheel* yahh!
  • Free cut in English class
  • Dissmissed early from Econ class
  • Going to a bathroom trip during Comm class and returning with everyone leaving already. Shet haha.
  • Spotting HC's el todo dia. (sobrang saya rito si Angge HEE)

Answer me this: Why was Charlie Chaplin such a pedo (he got two 16-year-olds pregnant during his time when he was twenty something and he married a 19-year-old when he was about 35 or 55 or something-5) and why did he have that block of hair on his upper lip? Was it intentionally fashioned to be that way or did he have daily accidents in his bathroom?

Law joke: Negligence
7:05 PM

What do you call two parties, respectively, bound by a contract with negligence?
Answer: Negligor and Negligee :D

It was hilarious when those words were uttered during class, but when I shared the joke to some of my friends who were taking law, they gave me a blank stare :|

Bakit, nakakatawa naman ah. :-<

I found this layout on the related skins thingy on my blogskins account. I gave the layout a long stare when I previewed it because it looked sooo familiar. Then I remembered, someone had already used this hahaha. I'm not sure if it was Nix or Kia or someone else. Basta I'm sure someone used it na.

[mitch hedberg voice] I'm using it too 'cause it's pretty. [/mitch hedberg voice]

Can you say Pig? I went on a feeding frenzy this morning and this afternoon:

Danielle Marie De los Santos
9:27 PM

Very few people know that I lack a middle intitial and that Eleazar, supposedly, IS my middle initial. If the cosmos willed for everything to be right on the day I was born, I would be properly christened Danielle Marie Eleazar De Los Santos (aka Danielle Marie E. De Los Santos).

My parents discussed this with Mikey (my sister) and I a long time ago. I never really understood why we couldn't get DeLosSantos as our last name before since we were in proper custody of BOTH our parents. I just knew clearly that our parents couldn't officially marry blahblahblah-- that must be the reason why I was always a "Dani Eleazar" not a "Dani De Los Santos". The topic about changing our last names were always in the back of our minds but I never thought it would actually happen (andun na kasi yung sobrang sanay na "dani eleazar" ako).

My parents were signing papers this morning with our birth certificates. So yeah-- Mukhang magiging Dani De los Santos na nga ako.

I don't feel so good about it for the main reason that it's such a big change for me to get used to. I mean, all of my records will have to adjust to that change. Hindi ako masasanay na tawagin ang last name ko as "DeLosSantos" when a teacher takes down the attendance or something aaaand... It always felt nice having a unique last name HAHA.

*sigh*
Birth certificates, school records, id's, even my signature (called "artistahin" by some hahaha... i even have a STAMP of my signature :c) will have to change.

Bright side:
  • I will no longer have to write "n/a" in those middle intial fields in applications
  • I will no longer receive letters that have: Dear Mr. & Mrs Eleazar or
  • Mr. and Mrs. FERNANDO JOAQUIN ELEAZAR (funny)

Danielle Marie Eleazar De los Santos

Danielle Marie De los Santos - Ma. Guerrero... Ops waaaaait. hahhhahaha.

Today:
  • An earthquake happened awhile ago. Earthquakes scare me. They reallyyyy do
  • I changed my layout back to the layout like the one of my old blog for the reason thaaat-- it looked better aaaand I missed it haha. k bye
  • I fell asleep thrice today
  • lo siento para esos qien piensan pueden "vender". poopoo

"New Kids on the Block...had a bunch of hits"

Err. They have one now again-- After almost 20 years? They have disappeared for practically and epoch but, tada, they've reunited and pooped out a new song. I don't remember any of their songs for the main reason na hindi ko sila naabutan haha (I was just a mere zygote when they had hits on the billboard charts), but I remember seeing posters of them on my sisters wall when I was 4? Anywhoooo. I'm assuming the band members are 40-ish and, I must say, they do not AT ALL look like they're 40-ish on their music vid. Granted, their new song (summertime) sounds boyband-stuck-in-the-nineties-but-still-sounds-modern-ish but heeeey... For a long- ago forgotten 80's/ early 90's boyband, it's not bad.

Share-- a.k.a. Dani was shitting words and a kwento.

For the noobs: New Kids on the Block was a boyband in the 80's. They were the ones who were practically the first of their boyband- kind (those that fall under the category along with Nsync and Backstreet Boys). Think "saved by the bell" era.

Now that's a good thought...

I'd love to see a spin-off of Saved by the Bell or for N'Sync to reunite for even just one song. Hahahaha I think I need to remember how it feels being so young and boob-less and baby-fat-full (especially after turning the big one nine last Thursday). I'd want to remember my kiddie days when:
  1. elephant pants were worn by everyone

Poopoo noonoo's
8:59 PM

Do you know Kiara Lagrisola? GREET HER. 'Tis her burfdae :D

The scene: 5 years ago in front of a 1-3 classroom
Dani: Teki! Pareho pala tayo ng birthday!
Teki: Ah talaga? Kelan birthday mo? *smile*
Dani: Uhh...

Grabeeeee I shall never forget that :))

Things I put to rest today:
  1. My uber OLD shoes. 2 weeks ago, I realized that my old Nike's wouldn't fit me anymore. I didn't have a proper spare for such a sport like the one I'm taking for PE (volleyball-- the sprinting and the drills blahblah) so I naturally pulled out the most able pair of rubber's I had left. They were fine when I tried them on again, but as soon as PE started-- wala... nasira na. El crap-o
  2. My Moto :(( It FELL on a puddle on the side of the street near the gutter. Putangina. I know my Moto looks old (well it IS old haha) but I have this thing with phones. Once I'm totally used to it, I lab it to bits already.
Thing I revived:
  1. My pebble-ish Ericsson phone. Despite the fact that its top part is hanging by a film-- literally, I have no choice. I'm probably only using it for one day until I can get a new phone tom. At least I super missed the sound of the message alert hahahaha.
New things that I received:
  1. Dads surprise birthday gift for me :)
  2. My sister's gift :)

High School Never Ends
8:36 PM

That song, "High School Never Ends", prove itself to be annoyingly right. Annoying porque none of us really like the idea of those stereotypes appearing to be invincible.

College is a far cry from avoding stereotypes. College actually has more stereotypes than highschool (from a perspective of a student from an all- girls catholic private school-- me). More jocks and weirdo's, more airheads and bullies.

Bullies, definitely more bullies.

I won't name him... or her. Haha. :D
