080808. Beijing Olympics. There are only 4 things that I watch when it's summer olympics year: Opening ceremonies, synchronized swimming, gymnastics (floor) and ending ceremonies.Opening ceremonies were gaaaaaaahhhh *sparkly eyes*, as usual. I bet the people behind the events dealt with a lot of cosas to make that exeedingly amazing production possible. If there'd be one thing that they didn't have a problem with, though, It'd be the number of people who participated in the production. Kasi hellooooo, with China's population, it wouldn't be difficult at all to tengo muchos gentes. True enough, every single presentation had sooooooo many people in them and all of them were spectacular. It was so amazing that you couldn't pinpoint one particular part to be a highlight-- all of them were highlight-worthy. Yay. This year was waaaay better than Sydney and Athens (HAHA naaalala parin), but what I couldn't get was the number of Filipino athletes sent to Beijing. Why so little?? (may also pertain to the flag bearer HAHA... i kid) Speaking of Filipino athletes... Solar sports fucking sucks for suuuper faulty commercial management or something. Ayan tuloy, they almost missed the Philippines. I was ready to cheer my heart out but the Philippine walk was fucking bitin. Sayang. I love you Philippines (mWaHuGzZzZZz POH!) Huling hirit. I effing loved the firework footprints thing. Muy clever. |
