You know what dudu's (Teki and Dani term) never learn? It's that women have this really strong support system. A system in the form of really loyal and best friends. Co- women, simply put. Probably the biggest mistake of all is not being conscious of this fact. This tends to bite back-- Hard.

A cold breeze is a cold breeze-- but the coldness really sinks in when your fingers and toesies acquire their own temperature that's very different from the rest of your body. E.g. the kind that makes your friend jump in his/ her seat when you touch his/ her arm or the kind that makes you seek the warmth of your armpits hahaha (or, God forbid, your ass). Now pair that with an emotion of anxiety or a mere state of nervousness-- I'd watch my fingernails turn extra pale whenever that happens to me haha. Yep, cold and pale fingers have been happening to me a lot lately as well as cold temperatures have landed in the Philippines. Hello daily corpse bride complexions.

This must be another side of GCC (global climate change) 'cause last years Christmas was really warm and the recently concluded Christmas was really cold. I liked it hahaha-- That's prolly an upside of GCC. Downside: Expectations of a muy muy caluroso summer.

I don't know what the eff's been up with my sleepy times but lately, I've been having naps that make me feel like I've been immersed in sleep for hours. I'd look at my iPod when I wake up and notice that my playlist has been through 7 songs when I only remembered the first two and the last one playing-- Well that's normal siguro for some but I usually remember the order of the songs that play when I take naps (in shuffle, take note). It's weird that I've been sleeping like a rock 'cause I don't remember ever being really tired for the past 2 weeks. Sleep doth loveth thee, I guess.

Thing that made me happy for today:
When I write notes down and I end the period with my notes ending at the exact last line of the page (the ones away from the bottom edge, of course). Haha that happened today when I was re- writing my Psych notes. Joy.

Chuck gnawed on one of the heels of my suede boots. Fuck it. I made a deal with my sister that I'd let them survive for more than 3 years (she got them for me) but yeah, less than 2 years in and I've been granted a bite-marked heel. Still perfectly wearable... But the bitemarks, el shit-o /slash/ mierda.

Haha okay letting go of the past. Moving on :))

Pardon my need to take a moment to thank the heavens for end of season sales. Who'd dare shun sales? Those that reach 70% discount prices at that. The economic crisis has really given a lot of silver linings-- In the form of shopping sprees hahahaha. Sounds a little insensitive, yes, but really now, who could resist the gravitational force exuded by red 'SALE' letters? We humans can't help but gush about bargains hahahha. Nothing beats cheap thrills-- end of season cheap thrills haha.

Shopaholic mode, off. Geek mode, on.

School starts monday. God knows I'm not ready. I can feel myself having a vacation hang over for about three days (sans the alc, please). I've got a bunch of readings waiting for me and I've been hearing their taunts and jeers because of the final days of vacay.

But hey, snaps and cheers for 2009. It's going to be great! :D
