Cheese
8:45 AM

"Alalahanin ang tag araw natin"-- Sir Pagsy would always sing his direct translation of "September" in his short speech before Sinta starts. Haha yup, I watched Sinta... Again. This would be, I believe, my fourth year of watching it (straight) and ever since I first watched it when I was 13, it's still my favourite high school play. It's sad that I wasn't able to watch Mitzie as Sinta, though! She performed at the ensemble before the 730pm cast. Nonetheless, it was still worthwhile-- Even after the countless times I've seen it. Why? 'Cause he surprised me with the tickets :) hihi yuck

Let's just say that I received more gifts from one person for Valentine's this year compared to last Christmas. All of them surprises :) A box of Ecuadorian Roses and 4 boxes of chocolates ('cause he couldn't decide :|). Such a cheeeeeese. I was sooooo ready to boycott this overrated event/ holiday buuut I backed out at the last minute. Haha :)

Mint is my coffee
12:28 AM

I'm currently at the process of finishing my review for my Sci10 longtext (which happens in about 9 hours hahaha). As usual.. I feel sleepy. Too sleepy. I don't like sleeping beyond midnight (haha I like getting enough rest) but yep, it's not like I have a choice. This has been happening to me A LOT lately. I'm getting really sleepy randomly and I can't keep my eyes open enough to concentrate in class no matter how big and orb- like they are. Naturally, I've tried settling on taking coffee everyday. The problem, though, is that coffee, for me, acts as a natural laxative and diuretic-- So yeaaaaah I wouldn't want to have constant trips to the restroom for that, would I? Haha. That ends any speculations on why I'm a coffe-girl-within-household-only.

So what did I do? Mints! Instead of sugary drinks and treats (which I'm scared to do 'cause my dad's a diabetic and I might acquire that somehow), I settled on taking those really minty mints. The kind of mints that makes your eyes water. My mint of choice now: Listerine breath strips. I pop about 2 when I'm falling asleep in class and 4 when it's past my bedtime and I'm still reading lengthy shit at home (which is now haha!). When I don't have those strips, the normal Mentos mints are enough for me. 2 pops in every class do it for me (HAHA wtf I'm talking like they're some kind of drug).

I wonder if I'm not the only one who uses mints as a stimulant... *chuckle*

Low and behold
5:51 PM

... was a phrase originally written "Lo and behold". 'Lo' meaning to look and 'behold' meaning to recognize something. Haha I was able to spare a few minutes to do a little Wikipedia link- hopping (Yeah 'cause there was enough dork in me to pass time on an online encyclopedia). This is interesting, really. It made me realize one thing-- It takes more than seeing something to actually get to understand it. Thus, you'd have to see and recognize. Otherwise, you'd be blind by what's already been in front of you. Or worse, you may have totally effed yourself over by doing the absolutely stupidest thing of giving the benefit of the doubt. Risks are always welcome but yeah, A's or B+'s aren't granted to those who don't make sure if their cuts from their classes were worth it or not.
