California, Wakeboarding and Swine Flu
1:00 AM
Yahoo!Buzz's headline when i opened my browser just a second ago was about the three things mentioned in the title. Of course, who am I to resist commenting on such insanely useless yet interesting news as of late?Ms. California and her being against gay marriage. I'm with her to some extent. TO SOME EXTENT. Yet, when I watched her on one of those morning shows (Today show, I think-- It was a clip from the web), and I heard her say that she was just standing up for what was "biblically correct", I lost her. I mean, I'm totally not against her intentions in being "biblically correct" (heck, I'm a Roman Catholic), but the way she delivered her opinions every time she was asked about it?-- It's as if she didn't have a care in the world for those who are in favor of gay marriages. Yes, she has a good point on keeping your opinions and not being fazed by anyone who thinks differently, but really now, you're being watched by a lot of people around the world and the least you could have is sensitivity? Keith Olbermann vs Sean Hannity on waterboarding. Okay, before I head on to what I'd like to say about these two, I was really really really utterly stupid into thinking that they were talking about WAKEBOARDING. Whatev ok... Moving on. I agree on Olbermann on this one-- It IS torture. HELLO. Even if I don't like how Olbermann talks on his show most of the time, Hannity is more stupid than me (on this particular entry... haha) on 1) thinking it isn't torture and 2) agreeing and announcing into participating in waterboarding! Um, hi... Search it on Wikipedia and the first thing you'll see is "Waterboarding is a form of torture" (this is directly copied from the wiki page-- Haha yeah I did research). "Talking big and living small" is what you are (quoted from Olbermann) Joe Biden told his family to stay away from planes and subways in fear of the swine flu infection. Why is he being given such bad remarks for this? It's just what almost everyone in proximity of the swine flu hotzones are doing, Biden just decided to voice out his anti-swine-flu measures on national television. Big deal? He's no different from anyone who's been doing the same thing. Besides, the veep's beein doing what a lot of doctors have been telling people to do. Eesh.. I bet these people who commented are bitter Republicans. (Yuck di ma- over sa US elections?) |
